The room was freshly renovated and the balcony was nice, and the location was quiet with a smooth check‑in. It was a bit dated in the bathroom and hallway, but that was fine for our needs. The real issue was the many smokers on the neighboring balcony and below, whose smoke drifted into our bedroom.
I really liked it. A cozy place.
The family room matched the booking photos, but the owners should invest in renovations. The carpet looked visibly dirty, the room smelled of cigarettes, and next to the family room’s window there was a lounge area/ smoking spot. On a hot summer evening it was impossible to keep the room window open because people were smoking outside. In the smoking area, other guests spoke loudly until late at night, which was disruptive. I suggest the owners consider these issues.
We didn’t enjoy this pension at all; the room was cramped for four beds, the shower was tiny, the faucet was broken, and the shower curtain was in poor shape. It was cold and uncomfortable for us and our two kids, and the appliances and kitchen were dirty. I can’t recommend this place—we left very disappointed and won’t be returning.
