When we arrived, we were hit with construction noise that had nothing to do with the peaceful, nature‑setting vibe the photos promised; the ongoing work wasn’t mentioned anywhere. The views from our room were completely different from the pictures posted. Our balcony was open and linked to the next room, giving almost zero privacy, and the room was crawling with ants and other insects. The bathroom light was broken. We asked for a room change, but the new room was just as bad. Maintenance was poor on several parts of the property. We tried to explain our dissatisfaction politely, but the manager was absent and the only staff member available couldn’t make any decisions. We ended up handling everything over WhatsApp, and they demanded full payment for all four nights despite the problems and the fact that the hotel was almost empty. They also offered to arrange tuk‑tuks for us, but the prices they quoted were far higher than the local rates. The whole experience was stressful and I can’t recommend this place.

From the moment we arrived, the host was incredibly kind, giving us a fresh coconut straight from the tree and a delicious breakfast. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the location is fantastic—right in the middle of nature yet only a 10‑minute walk from the center.

The place is quiet but not too far from main street, a family‑friendly address with a warm welcome and very good meals. The rooms are quite spacious. However, you have to walk 10 minutes or take a tuk‑tuk to get to the center, the building below is unfinished, and the water pressure isn’t always good in the upper‑floor rooms.

The view from our room was beautiful, the staff were very friendly and tried to meet all our needs, and the shower was excellent with plenty of hot water. The hotel is located quite far from the main road, making any activity a long drive. The internet speed was very low, sometimes below 1 Mbps, and although the staff tried to fix it, the problem persisted. The toilet flushing mechanism didn’t work well.
