Everything was outstanding from the moment we arrived: the location is super convenient, close to great restaurants, shops, and public transport, making it easy to get around. The room was clean, comfortable, and well‑equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. I would definitely come back and recommend it highly.

There was no breakfast. The location is good and close to everything. The house is missing a lot of things; I messaged the host on WhatsApp. It’s very noisy from outside.

“Horrible”

Avoid at all costs! It’s extremely noisy at night and dirty. Internet is very slow and WiFi isn’t available in the whole room. Regular power cuts happen during hot summer days. The tap water isn’t drinkable, and this isn’t mentioned anywhere before booking. We only learned about it upon arrival (see attachment). The owner has a small water tank in the shared kitchen that guests can use with a pump. We had to leave the apartment three days early because we woke up at 8 am with 35 + degrees and there was no water. The owner was informed but did nothing. We returned to the room at 19:00 pm and there was still no water. The cleaning lady told us the plumber had been called and would be there within an hour, but we waited three hours and the plumber never showed up. It was already 22:00 at night. We couldn’t use the bathroom, shower, or wash our hands. The toilet was filled with urine. Because there was no water, one guest used the water from the drinking water tank (note that the bathrooms are also shared) to shower (see attachment). The cleaning lady said we wouldn’t get fresh drinking water until Monday (it was Saturday) because nobody worked on Sundays. The owner owns a restaurant three minutes away and didn’t bother to send a few bottles of fresh water for the guests. This is unacceptable and unprofessional to pay money and have no drinkable water or water for showering, using the toilet, or washing hands at 40 degree weather. The owner takes zero responsibility and instead claims she was informed late during the day, which is not true. For the above reasons, think twice before booking. At the end, we received no refund or reimbursement and had to pay extra to book a normal room with running water.

Such a wonderful 1950s building with a MASSIVE room with private balcony and furnished with gorgeous 19050s furniture. Aircon was such a life-saver! Very comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen and excellent shared kitchen. Location in old town was excellent - shops so close and easy 20 minute walk to bus station. Excellent value for money and highly recommended for budget-conscious travelers. I didn't get to meet the host because she was overseas😭

The place was hard to spot without a sign, but once you found it, the location was solid. The dishes never get washed, so we usually have to do it ourselves.
