The location high up in the old town is gorgeous, with a stunning view and a fresh, extensive breakfast. A real issue is that you need to plan your luggage in advance because you can’t park right by the hotel. The biggest problem, though, is that the hotel isn’t listed in the map app when you follow the directions.

I was struck by the lovely room with incredible views, and the breakfast was good! However, I had to put the sheets on myself because they only left them folded on the bed—basic hospitality. The reception is actually at the village entrance, not where the Google Maps pin shows, so finding it was confusing.

Monemvasia est un endroit magique et c'est vraiment un plus de pouvoir y séjourner. La chambre était parfaite: calme, très bien équipé et avec une très belle vue sur Monemvasia et la mer. Le petit déjeuné était vraiment très copieux et varié

This stop was a key part of our Greek trip. The spot was perfect, super unique, and the breakfast was amazing. Being able to wander the ruins and feel the vibe of the area was a gift. The early October weather was lovely. It took a while to figure out check‑in, but a local restaurateur guided us to free parking, the shuttle to the castle, and then to the check‑in desk. From there, our hostess Tatiana made us feel right at home.
