The spot is great—just a 2‑minute walk to a tiny pub that serves amazing tea, and the morning birds in the many trees on the property are fantastic. It’s a lovely place.

The common room is very pleasant with a fireplace and a huge library available, it has its charm. The hosts are attentive and let you have your space. The bedroom décor feels a bit dated, but that’s just my opinion. Otherwise, nothing to complain about.

Convenient location, a friendly greeting, and staff eager to make our stay comfortable. We were even greeted by a combined grunt from the two pigs in the paddock next to our cottage. The only downside was that we couldn’t turn off the light outside our cottage—nothing major, just a concern about others seeing a light on all night.
