“Convenient, eclectic, central place to visit Palermo.”

Breakfast included fruit, coffee, tea and some packaged biscuits, but we chose to eat out. The host was attentive and gave excellent suggestions for places to visit and eat. The house is full of impressive art displays. The space is eclectic and nice, but the bathroom and kitchen are shared – that wasn’t a problem because no one else was there, but it could have been worse if someone had been. The stairs are a bit scary because the first few steps are glass that creaks; we had two heavy suitcases and there’s nowhere to put them downstairs. The “road” is actually a pedestrian alley that starts with four or five steps from the main street, so it’s not great with luggage. To catch a taxi you have to walk a few blocks, because the main street is not a real road and there are so many people that it’s hard to get a car (our driver did manage to get in on the way back). We saw rats just outside the window, which was gross, but the city is old and there’s a construction site outside the bedroom window.

“Mysigt, lugnt och avslappnat.”

The place is incredibly central, right in the old town. The host was very friendly and helpful. We were surprised to find out that the kitchen and bathroom were shared, but since no one else was in the other room we had the entire apartment to ourselves.
