The breakfast was the worst I've ever had at a hotel.

The property sits in a great spot and the staff were genuinely helpful.

The location was great, the room was clean, the air conditioning worked well, and there was a nice garden, but the bed and pillows felt lumpy and the first night was noisy because of plumbing and the fridge.

We liked the walkable subway station and the free car parking right outside the building; the house itself was very quiet, and the owner was friendly and offered fresh eggs in addition to the breakfast buffet. However, because the building is old, the corridors and stairways were very narrow, making it hard to carry luggage to upper floors (there was no elevator). The room became almost unbearable hot due to high outdoor temperatures; instead of air conditioning there was only a fan that did little to help. In the evening the room couldn't be ventilated because the only window could barely open outward. Significant improvements are urgently needed.
