We had an exceptional stay at Panorama Guesthouse Mata C. As a couple, we chose to stay in a dorm room for the first time because of the great reviews, and we never regretted it. The dorm is impeccably maintained, with two bathrooms and a lovely balcony offering stunning views. Tamar, the host, and her partly Svan family (who spend summers in Adishi and the rest of the year in Tbilisi) are truly a gem and go above and beyond for guests. She is very caring and ensures you feel safe and comfortable. Her cooking is exceptional; on a single burner she served a lavish feast for dinner and an outstanding breakfast. The homemade food was pure, unique, and the most flavorful we’ve had in Georgia. We learned so much about the country and her culture from her. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Tamar! An absolute must‑stay along the multi‑day hike from Mestia to Ushguli.

This spot offered an experience worth keeping close to my heart for a long time. The host is one of the most amazing people I’ve met; she sat with us for dinner and breakfast, and we had long, engaging talks about Georgia’s history, politics, and everyday life. She speaks flawless English and is passionate and knowledgeable. The beds were clean and comfortable, and there was no issue with the dorm; the host helped create a great vibe among us guests, making us a nice group. The food was superb, and the host could share the story behind each dish she served. I truly recommend this place to anyone who wants stories and insight into the lives and history of people in Adishi and Georgia in general, while also enjoying a good bed and a historic area. Thank you so much!
