I stayed in a beautiful historic mansion that felt like stepping back in time with its antique furniture and decor. Because we visited off‑season and the inn was almost empty, it was very quiet and I slept soundly. The bed in room 2 was incredibly comfortable—those extra smooth sheets are amazing. I also enjoyed the fireplace, and breakfast was generous and delicious. Like any old house, there were a few quirks and squeaky sounds.

This B&B was very charming; our room was lovely, and the pie and breakfast were very good. The stairs were a little hard to negotiate.

The beautiful older mansion in a great location had excellent staff who made you feel welcome and at home, and who doesn’t enjoy homemade pies every day! Some bath fixtures could use upgrading.
