Romildo’s service was a plus, but when we arrived the lodge had no electricity; after an hour power returned, we went out to eat, and when we came back our room was again without power. We were moved to a different room at 2 a.m. and it had a shower that didn’t work.

The place was comfy, the landscaping was nice, and the couple running it were friendly. Breakfast was solid and the whole spot was quiet. Nothing really stood out as a problem.

Felt like staying in an old country house with a Tuscan vibe thanks to the Italian owners. The cleanliness was insane – never seen a room so spotless, linens smelled fresh, no dust at all. Breakfast was great, staff were super attentive, and I’d definitely come back for another sunny pool day.
