“It’s a quirky hotel with good views and location is close to the nearby town which has night markets and a few restauran”
We arrived well before check‑in and were allowed to use the facilities; towels were provided, so we lounged all day, and when someone left we managed to grab theirs, though many loungers still had towels on them. The hotel’s boho vibe is nice but feels worn in spots. Breakfast was solid with many options, and the Honesty picnic shop was a good idea, offering a varied selection of baguettes, pastries and drinks. The staff were pleasant and friendly. On the first night I spotted one ant on the bed but didn’t think much of it, yet later I felt something crawling over me; only the next morning did I see ants on the bed and under the sheets. When dining at Neni they ran out of rosé by the glass, so I had to buy a bottle at the corner supermarket. If you want English breakfast tea, bring your own bags because they have none, but I still bought one at the supermarket. The shower head kept falling off the stand. I had to return a cocktail; it was a piña colada that tasted like coconut milk with ice, while the margarita was good. We reported all of this at checkout and offered to show them where the ants were coming from, but they didn’t follow up. If you’re staying in 3106, ask about the ants! As a goodwill gesture they waived our Neni bill. On our last day we had lunch at Neni but a broken cocktail stick was in the food; they gave us one dessert to share for free. We also both received texts supposedly from the hotel asking for details and saying the price had gone up; they had my name, phone number and exact dates, and this was a scam.
