It was truly a boutique hotel with very friendly staff. The beds were good, but it was quite cold when we were there. There weren't many people, so at breakfast we were alone with our family. The fire burned in the fireplace, which made it cozy, but the piano music was a bit stiff for me and the lighting was too bright. A perfect spot to explore Franschhoek.

Everything from start to finish was lived. Staff, food, room area all stunning.

We got a nice, spacious room and a friendly welcome, plus a cozy common area where we could relax with games or books; the breakfast was freshly prepared, the bathroom was clean, and the room facilities were solid, although the mattress in one of the rooms was worn out and needed replacing.
