The rooms were spotless and the beds slept like pillows, but the mosquitoes were relentless—still have bite marks—and the shower was a mess, with water spraying everywhere.

It was fantastic—service and fine dining were unparalleled, we felt like royalty; breakfast on a tree platform just for us two, with a Grand‑Hotel‑style selection; the evening dinner outside the lodge with lights and excellent service, again just for us two—couldn't get better.
