The room was spotless, the bed was cozy, water pressure was great, and the sunrise views were the most beautiful.

“There are no rooms with A/C! The description on booking is wrong.”

The spot was spot-on, the bed was comfy, the hammock area was nice, and the staff did their best to accommodate the A/C mix‑up. I booked the king sea‑view room because the listing said it had A/C, but we never got the remote to use it. The staff claimed there wasn’t enough electricity for A/C and insisted they’d removed the description from the listing. They offered to refund us the second night when we tried to switch to another A/C hotel, even though they were sure the mix‑up was on our side, but that place sold out so we stayed. The room was scorching and the fans weren’t strong enough to cool it at night.

“Me sentí robada”

The price was four times higher than other guests paid because I booked through Booking; the place didn’t live up to what I paid. Directions were terrible, it took a long time to find the spot and nobody answered. There was no clear sign to distinguish it from other places. The shower didn’t work well, they didn’t give me towels, the room wasn’t cleaned until I asked, and there was no toilet paper.

The place is spectacular and the hosts are amazing—definitely coming back.

“Chacahua is amazing!”

The location is great, the staff are friendly, and you can rent a surfboard right there, giving the place a great vibe. The shower was only room temperature at best, the food service was very slow (not just here), and I’d have liked more drink options.
