“Like Home”

Everything! It was comfortable, clean, and conveniently located. I was treated like family and Dona Norma took great care of me. She ensured all my questions were answered and I had a need for nothing. Don Norman, was onsite and took care of whatever Norma was unable to. When I wanted to move from the capsule to the solo room he made sure it could happen and that it was a smooth transition. When I had an issue with the shower head he came and immediately fixed it and followed up with me. You can tell the entire staff truly enjoys what they do. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I slept in a capsule in the women’s dorm and felt really comfortable and safe. Norman, the manager, in particular, is incredibly warm, welcoming, and a great person to talk to. You can tell that everyone puts a lot of love and care into the hostel and into making sure you feel at home. From the rooftop, you have a fabulous view of the ocean and the mountains, and it’s a wonderful spot to enjoy the sunset. The nearest supermarket is about a 10-minute walk away, and in 15 minutes you can reach downtown Tamarindo or the beach. I highly recommend everyone stop by here

“Wonderful people and a serene environment to rest before going back into town.”

Being perched up on the hill kept me a bit removed from the las fiestas in Tamarindo’s town centre, which I appreciated. Norman, the staff and my housemates were great, making it a pleasant break.

“Would not recommend or return”

The hotel's prime location and friendly management team were highlights, but several issues detracted from the overall experience, including subpar amenities and facilities.
