The place was spotless, very quiet, and everything was well organized, but they should provide at least one water bottle for guests as a standard.

The place is an old colonial‑style villa, tucked away in total quiet and offering a spectacular sea view. The pool is huge and first‑rate, and we spent every free minute there. Renting a car is absolutely essential. You’ll have to get used to the rather weak service, the sometimes unfriendly locals and the often wildly inflated prices. If you expect constant smiles, luggage assistance or meals for €20, this probably isn’t the spot for you. Still, the pleasant climate, gorgeous gardens, unique architecture and dreamy beaches more than make up for it, so I’d definitely recommend it.
