We were picked up from the harbour, which was super nice as 3 out of 4 of us had horrible seasick from the ferry. The host was super friendly. The facility was very good. We didn't have problem with the share toliet/bathroom and they were normally free when we wanted to use them. Puffins were just steps away and the island is just amazing!!. Nothing!

I loved this place. Our host, Gaga, even opens the doors of planes that land there and recognized me right away when she opened the plane door. She served us a delicious breakfast and drove us to the ferry, which is pretty funny on such a small island, but it was nice not to have to lug our bags. The Inn has a comfortable sitting room and a deck. It’s located by the airport rather than in town, so it’s the last building you pass as you walk to the north end of Grimsey Island.

The house was extremely clean and beautifully located, walkable to every spot on Grímsey, and very close to the seabirds. The host was so kind and helpful. Breakfast was good and the coffee was excellent. I can’t think of anything they could do better.

The host met us at the harbour from the ferry holding a name board—a wonderful welcome to Grimsey. Then he drove us to the property. It’s very close to the puffins. All great.
