“Kurztrip nach Bodenmais”

The room was extremely clean, and the welcome was exceptionally friendly. Breakfast was OK, and when asked for more it was refilled (which I liked before it got thrown away). There were enough parking spaces. The house is old‑fashioned. The bathroom was quite narrow, with a high shower entrance. The water jet wasn’t a proper jet—enough to wash hair, unfortunately. Throughout the hotel there were figures, masks, puppets, dried flowers, and a lot more. It was a pity that this hotel only issues a guest card and not the Active Card. With the guest card you basically get no perks compared to the Active Card. The allocation of the different cards is at the discretion of the hotel owners.

“5-Sterne Service, Top Lage, perfektes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis”

My stay was fantastic! The value for money is 100% right here. Aside from the service, which deserves 5 stars, I was rarely treated with such affection and hospitality as here. The couple running the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. The mattress in my bed was super comfortable, so after my hikes I always slept very well. The location is also a 10 out of 10; in just 5 minutes on foot you’re in the forest and can immediately hike to the waterfalls, Arber, or Silberberg. The breakfast buffet offers everything you want, and on request you also get freshly made scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, or fried eggs. I felt very welcome and would come back anytime.

Idyllic, quiet setting only about 10 minutes on foot to the town center of Bodenmais and directly on the trail to the Rießlochwasserfall. About 15 car minutes to Arber and 5 to Silberberg. The double room was large, very clean and cozy, with a nice big balcony. Great breakfast buffet! Especially worth highlighting in all respects is the hospitality of the owner, who runs the hotel with love.

The manager was very friendly and the room was clean, but the bathroom was tiny, the shower was small, and there were few wardrobes.

“Komme gerne wieder!”

The hosts were exceptionally warm and dedicated, making you feel instantly welcomed, and the atmosphere was crafted with great heart and attention to detail; the premises were spotlessly clean and the location was central, with the town center and various hiking trails within easy walking distance; breakfast was flawless.
