I liked the private beach and the very good staff at this accommodation. However, the toilets and bathrooms need improvement, and the place should be cleaned and maintained more regularly.

The location is a bit remote but right on the beach. The Kubo’s are small, clean, and have air‑conditioning and electricity. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s a very quiet spot, but you’ll need your own wheels to get around, and aside from the beach, caves and waterfalls, there isn’t much else to do. Ideal for a one‑night stop. The dogs barked at night and woke me twice.

The breakfast was nice and the coffee shop below had lovely staff. I was charged a lot for breaking a flimsy drinking glass that shattered when I tried to un‑wedge an ice cube stuck at the top. I’ve never been asked to pay for accidentally breaking a glass before; it felt a bit odd. I could have bought a box of six glasses for the amount I was charged.

I slept in a hut/tent that was surprisingly comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great. The whole facility is nice and well‑kept, surrounded by beautiful nature. The staff are very nice and helpful, and they serve good coffee, which attracts city folks. Wifi works well. The only drawback is the way to the beach: it’s not direct, requires walking through other people’s fenced but empty plots, and the beach at that point isn’t as nice as further on. The property is isolated, far from services and restaurants, but that can be an advantage for peace and quiet.

I had one of the worst experiences at this Philippine location. The place was incredibly filthy, far from what the misleading pictures suggested, and the advertised beach was actually off‑limits to the public. It felt like they were just trying to take my money without delivering any promised amenities, so I would not recommend staying here. I also found the place terribly small, lacking any amenities, making it unsuitable for families with children. The cleanliness was appalling—filthy, with spiders and cockroaches everywhere, especially at night when I turned on the lights. It was disgusting to see so many insects crawling around. It seems the owners only care about collecting money and have no regard for the condition of the place; I definitely won’t be returning.
