The rooms are beautiful and modern, with a very nice shower and toilet. The breakfast and dinner areas are lovely. The staff are very friendly, and the restaurant is truly outstanding – kudos to the kitchen team, it rivals many top restaurants. The sommelier and wine selection are also excellent. Nothing to complain about.

The food was very good. We didn’t receive the room we booked; instead of a Junior Suite we got a Comfort room. We were not informed. After asking, it was confirmed and the price was adjusted.

We spent five wonderful nights with our 3‑year‑old daughter at Hotel Gschwangut and would love to stay longer. Our room was clean, spacious, and modernly furnished. The air conditioning worked wonderfully, letting us sleep well. The garden with pool landscape and playground was simply phenomenal – everything was clean and well maintained. We relaxed and cooled off nicely. Breakfast and the five‑course dinner left no room for complaints. In the morning there’s tasty fruit from the garden, and otherwise nothing is missing. The dinner is very high‑level, delicious, and accompanied by a wide drink selection. With a small child we felt very welcome, as they are truly embraced. The entire staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. Every request (e.g., when the child fell ill) was met immediately. We’ll gladly return – thank you for the great stay!

There are several relaxation zones; a nice hot sauna; excellent cuisine; some homemade or regional spreads and breads; friendly staff. The steam bath could have been hotter in the afternoon, and I would have liked a wider selection of soft cheeses on the cheese platter.
