Very nice accommodation, clean, super equipped, in a very quiet location that feels like a real local. Very close to the metro station and bus stops so you can easily connect to all parts of the city.

Palazzo Sapienza Design Suites works well for a few days in Rome. I liked the spot, especially being close to metro B and in a pretty nice neighbourhood. The online check‑in and code entry were simple and effective, no issues. The place feels welcoming, the room was clean, and we appreciated the little courtyard for a bit of smartworking. On the downside, the window in the booked room was a little faulty. It’s an old building, so I understand the style and internal quirks, but we had some trouble opening and closing it at first. Some parts of the room were dirty or had scuff marks: not a problem for the stay, but the overall condition of the property is obviously not comparable to a hotel. Finally, because of other guests at the B&B that week, the room shared a wall with the washing machine in the “common room”, which was turned on during the night on the first evening. Sleeping next to a spinning dryer wasn’t the best, but thankfully it happened only once.

The kitchen area is very well equipped. The room is very small, and the bathroom doesn’t even have a place to put a toiletry bag!

Getting there was quite easy, not super central but in a pretty nice spot near the university, just a 5‑minute walk from the metro station. The room was pretty nice with a good bathroom and a decent amount of space. The host was friendly and the arrival was super easy, especially since we were coming after 8 pm. It was nice, but the shared area felt a bit like a student house—clean and everything but nothing special. The outside area was nice to have but similar, quite basic. The bathroom didn’t have a window or extractor fan. The mattress wasn’t super comfy. Also there was no room cleaning while we were there—though it wasn’t super expensive, so that’s all good. Nothing too bad at all, just felt a bit more like a shared cheap student Airbnb rather than a hotel.
