Travelodge by Wyndham Clarksville

I was quite surprised by the affordable price, but unfortunately, the room was a letdown. The floors in both rooms I stayed in were disgustingly dirty, and it seemed like they hadn't been cleaned or mopped at all. The first room had a broken toilet lid and a shower that wouldn't stop running, with a gross toilet seat that made me feel like the room had never been touched by housekeeping. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

I have to say that I was impressed by the hotel's admission that they couldn't find my reservation, which I had made through their website. However, my excitement was short-lived as I was made to wait for hours when I arrived at the designated check-in time. The front desk staff seemed completely uncooperative, telling me multiple times that they couldn't find my booking and refusing to offer a refund or let me stay.

“Not good at all”

My stay was a disaster from start to finish. The mattress I slept on had bloodstains, and the air conditioning unit didn't work at all. To make matters worse, the housekeeping staff threw away some of my personal belongings, and the front desk girl had a completely unprofessional and nasty attitude. It was a terrible experience that I won't soon forget.

“This building needs to be condemned”

I was appalled by the state of the room I was given. The bathroom door was dry-rotted and wouldn't close, and there were cigarette burns on the sheets, comforter, and bathtub. The room reeked of cigarette smoke, and I spotted roaches scurrying around. The old musty smell was overwhelming, and I was shocked to see that the smoke detector was just hanging from the ceiling. The ceiling material was missing in several places, and light sockets were dangling from the wall.

“It was okay other then the part where there is no heads up on when you need to leave the room i had a hotel travel lodge”

While my family and I enjoyed a comfortable bed during our stay, the service we received from the staff was inconsistent and sometimes rude. Some staff members were friendly and welcoming, but others seemed disinterested and even condescending. It was a bit disconcerting to feel like we were being judged by some of the staff, and it made our stay feel less enjoyable than it could have been.
