Thanks to Alejandra and Armando for everything! We spent a very relaxed week and felt right at home. Alejandra’s food was amazing, made with love and deep knowledge of Mexican traditions—by far the best cuisine we experienced in all of Mexico 🫶🏻

Nothing positive. The hosts are friendly but too young and inexperienced to handle issues. The place is far from the river crossing; walking with luggage under the sun is a nightmare and they never mention it. There’s no lighting in the hotel courtyard at night, so nothing is visible. My husband was bitten by red ants because we couldn’t see the ant hill and stepped on it. We arrived with no water and they couldn’t warn us beforehand. We had to move from hotel to hotel all night with suitcases after walking 1 km. They offered us a transfer to another horrible hotel, and the car was littered with beer bottles on the floor, making it impossible to put our feet down. Terrible. I would never come back. They eventually refunded our reservation, but that doesn’t erase the wasted time or bad experience.

The room is adequate, nothing special. The upper‑floor rooms have beautiful views. It’s far from the town; you have to walk either to the beach or along a path (the sunny day makes it long). There’s nothing nearby—if you want to eat or dine you must go to town. The room is very basic, with rusty items, and looks much better in photos. The value for money feels low; for that price I’d stay somewhere in town. We had to wait a long time for the host to arrive, and they didn’t reply to our messages. When we asked for dining or paddle‑board advice, they said “everything was fine.” I suspect the people mentioned in the comments no longer run it.

The breakfast you can pay extra for was very tasty, and Alexandra was polite. The room is extremely small, the fan beside the bed is weak, the shower towels seemed unwashed as they left countless blue lint on the damp skin, and the shower itself was awful with barely any water—by far the worst in all of Mexico.
