Great location and the staff were kind and helpful. Some of the amenities were closed and there was a lot of water damage in the hall. The room smelled musty and damp. When we turned on the heat and fan there was an odour that caused a burning sensation in our nose, throat, and eyes. We had to sleep with the heat off to minimise the smells.

From the moment we arrived, everything felt just right – the service, the vibe, the little touches. It turned out to be one of those trips you keep talking about because it was simply incredible.

The suite gave us plenty of breathing room for four, and the two teenage girls loved having their own bathrooms. It was perfect for our family, though the décor showed its age a bit.

The hotel's spot is hard to beat, and the staff were always ready with a smile and helpful advice. The only downside was that the rooms felt a little old-fashioned.
