“A beautiful traditional place in a peaceful setting”
What an amazing place to stay—so quiet, peaceful, and authentically traditional. Toko and the whole family were wonderful and helpful, and I can’t wait to return!

The staff were friendly and the price was good. The photos don’t do the place justice; the room was basic but it had a large fridge, an outdoor daybed, and felt very modern. The breakfast, however, was only basic.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel because it was cozy, convenient, and the staff were friendly. The grounds were green and beautiful, with two large swimming pools. The rooms were freshly renovated, and the daily cleaning was perfect.

The location is perfect—far enough from Ubud’s centre to be quiet, yet everything you need is nearby. The massage place next to VELORA was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool is beautiful, and you can walk out the back through the rice fields to Bintang supermarket, away from the main road. Nothing to complain about.

I rented a motorbike and could park it on the property. Behind the hotel were picturesque rice fields that I could stroll through. The accommodation wasn’t in the town centre, but the attractions were close by. Bintang Supermarket is 150 m away, and there are smaller supermarkets nearby. There are endless dining options both around and in central Ubud. The unit had access to many streaming services, which was a nice bonus. The only downside was that the water in Bali isn’t drinkable, but that’s unrelated to Toko Toko Bungalows.
