The front terrace of the house was nice, but the accommodation itself was a disaster: the photos on the booking site didn't match the apartment we received, walls were full of cracks, a living room window wouldn't open—maybe the building had settled—broken lamps, dirty dishes in the cabinets, dust on lamp shades, a foul smell as soon as you entered the building, moisture in the toilet and shower in the hallway, pots that were unsafe to use, a broken non-stick coating, all of which posed a health risk and made the price completely unjustified. On top of that, the booking platform added a security deposit, energy fees, and Wi‑Fi charges, which felt excessive. The location was also poor; both Barvaux and Durbuy were far away and you always needed a car.

The location was good, but the bathroom could have been cleaner; there were mold spots in the seams.
