The room was clean, breakfast was delicious with many choices, the bathroom water pressure was great, but the lighting was a bit too dim.

The location is fantastic, the rooftop views are great and the staff are friendly, but sometimes there's a smell and there's no elevator.

The grand palace is close to Wat Pho and Wat Arun, and the flower market is nearby; however, the rooms have tiny bugs like wood lice, the ventilation is noisy, parking or taxi pickup is hard because the spot is in a side street with many wholesalers, and the staff’s English varies—one receptionist is easy to understand while another isn’t.
