The staff’s treatment before and during the stay was good; Angie was very kind at all times. Overall, I liked everything. Note the stairs—difficult to reach with luggage.

The air conditioner worked for an hour and then would not turn on again, a very bad experience in a small hot room.

Angie is very helpful and responds immediately to whatever you need! The room is in a quiet neighbourhood with some shops around, and the positive is that from the vaporetto station to the property there are no steps, unlike many other buildings in Venice! The bed and pillows are very comfortable, and it has a very good fan. The room did not have a fridge, which I obviously missed noticing, but with the heat it was hard not to have cold water. I also had an AC issue, but it was fixed right away… The big issue is the stairs… 30 steps to the first floor, someone has to be in good physical shape and not carry heavy weight!!! But that’s how Venice is with the old palazzi.

I love how close the place is to the docks and the city center, and getting from the airport is a breeze with the Motobarca alilaguna or the vaporetto to hop across the Grand Canal. The staff were always on hand via WhatsApp for any question or clarification—thanks, Angie. The mattresses were a bit too thin and hard, and the internal deodorant made the room feel nauseous because it tried to mask the humidity.
