“Stay elsewhere”

Far too expensive. Ice machines didn’t work on any floor. The valet was slow and inconsistent. Food was terrible in the Commons and Pool Bar. Service in the Commons and Pool Bar was ridiculous. There was trash everywhere at the Pool Bar. The pool water was disgusting and filthy. Guests from outside the hotel were rude and dirty. The bar service and bartender were so bad and slow. Drink prices are absurd and taste awful. The Commons were incredibly hot and had tacky fans everywhere. Dining service was constantly slow. Rooms were way too small and filled with junk. Hallways were dirty. The neighborhood was very sketchy and dangerous. Not a good value. Not at all what we expected from Virgin. We will not stay here again.

“Great Staycation”

The location and staff were amazing and made the stay that much better. The shower drain had an unpleasant smell. There were light holes in the couch and wear and tear on the table. I had some issues with the TV, but it was quickly handled.

I was on a high floor, but a neighbor with a dog in the adjacent room barked all night while everyone else was out, which was annoying. I also got double‑charged, which was a headache to sort out. On the bright side, every staff member was exceptional!

The staff were amazing—each one fantastic. The room was dark, the elevator felt claustrophobic, and the AC in the hot room didn’t work.
