It was a very bad experience: we received a room with so many lizard droppings on the wall and a very musty smell, as if it hadn’t been used for a long time; the new room was still musty, but at least the lighting was all working.

The service was solid, but the food left a lot to be desired; the nasi lemak was worse than the RM2 nasi lemak at Tepi Jalan, the rendang was bland, and the mee goreng was so flat it felt like the noodles hadn’t been washed first. The pastries weren’t fresh or fluffy either. I liked the room and the toilet, but the food was a real let‑down.

The location and interior are great, but everything else is perfect.

The building’s exterior and interior are classic, and the lobby smells wonderful. The TV, however, is a pain; I couldn’t find any local MY channels and the remote batteries need replacement.
