We absolutely loved the spot, the luxury feel, and the fantastic food. Avista became our favorite dining spot, and we even got a breakfast upgrade there! Our room on the top floor was amazing, offering breathtaking views of Funchal bay; it was spacious and spotless. The turn‑down service was a highlight too. This was our third visit, and we’re definitely coming back.

The stay was very pleasant, and the on‑site restaurants were perfect.

Breakfast was good, we really enjoyed the dinner at the Asia restaurant, and the music in the afternoons was a nice touch. The selection of craft beers at the bar was a solid choice. It was a shame that Gallo d'Oro was closed, and it was a pity we couldn’t bring our 18‑year‑old nephew to spend an afternoon by the pool.

The food was good and the service was solid. However, many older guests at the resort complained about noise from rooms at 10 pm, which was annoying.
