I stayed for only one night, yet the hotel/pub was excellent—the food was good and the owner was fantastic; there was nothing that could have been better.

Steve, the host, is a hardworking, popular, and knowledgeable gentleman of the area; nothing during our weekend stay was a problem.

The staff were all excellent, polite and attentive, and the food was top‑class— I ate every meal there because it was great value. The room stayed clean and comfortable with zero noise, so I’ll be back soon. No complaints.
