The cotton comforter feels great for sleeping bare, yet the overall décor looks like a construction site: the floor can be used to file calluses, the wiring is wrapped in PVC for easy maintenance, the toilet door has a huge seam to prevent accidents, the ceiling has silicone and holes for ventilation, the front door feels DIY, and the shower head is surprisingly advanced.

Lucas the volunteer was incredibly kind and helpful during my brief stay. I didn’t realize the property was quite far from town, and he offered to drive me in on his scooter and also took me to a place he liked for dinner. He was extremely generous and shared a lot of information. The view is beautiful just a short walk away. They also offer tea, coffee, and snacks! The only downside is it’s a bit far, but that’s fine if you have a car or bike. The beds were a little hard.

The owner was cheerful and relaxed, making life feel effortless; the sea view, the cattle, and the fresh sashimi were all a delight—especially the owner’s secret sashimi shop, which you should definitely ask about. I only stayed briefly, so next time I’ll extend my visit.
