The place was a real gem – the view was gorgeous and the bed was super cozy, especially with those electric blankets when it was freezing outside. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made the stay feel special. The only hiccup was the yellowish water in the tub, but that’s just the local water, so no big deal.

The hosts were amazing – they were so kind and understanding, especially after I messed up my booking details and was exhausted. They didn’t make me feel guilty at all; instead, they made me feel right at home. I’m usually nervous about being a burden, but they made it feel like I was a valued guest.

“Regional Short Stay”

The shared living area and room were comfortable, though it was pretty cold at first. Once we cranked up the gas heater, it warmed up nicely. Breakfast was simple but decent – toast, cereal, fruit, tea, coffee, and juice. I didn’t use the TV or other amenities because I was just passing through. The air conditioning didn’t work and the small oil heater was barely helpful, but the electric blankets saved the day. Phone reception was spotty, though the Wi‑Fi was solid.

“To quote an old TV add ... Not happy Jan :(”

Honestly, there isn’t much to say – the only redeeming factor was the quiet. For a place that calls itself a bed and breakfast, it was a letdown. The breakfast was just a few prepackaged pancakes on top of a basic continental spread, and the tap water wasn’t drinkable; you had to go outside to get filtered water.

“We had half the property to ourselves, it was lovely & quiet, my husband said it would good we we had some bathrobes”

Everything was great – the hosts were fantastic at communicating and made the stay smooth. There was nothing I didn’t like.
