It’s a family‑owned guest house. The owners are very kind, helpful, and respond to requests politely. I booked a room with a balcony, which was lovely. The air‑conditioning has heating, so you can adjust the temperature as needed. The room and bathroom were clean, and the shower had hot water. The guest house sits very close to the west gate—just a few minutes’ walk. The west gate is not busy, so entry is quick, and from there it’s easy and fast to reach any other gates using the free Forest Park buses or the cable car (included in the entry ticket). Over three days we explored every corner of the park. The owner's daughter cooked fresh homemade food on the spot from a menu card, each meal individually priced. The owner also arranged a car to pick us up from the previous hotel in town and to take us to the airport; he and his wife are very kind and respectful. You’ll need a translator app or WeChat to communicate smoothly. Their Wi‑Fi isn’t very strong, but we both had good reception on our phones, so it didn’t bother us. Cleaning is available upon request for longer stays, but the room was clean from the start. I can recommend this place, and if I need it again, I’ll use it again. Just a heads‑up: this area in the forest park feels more like villages, so shop in town before arriving if you need anything beyond basics or something specific. Food options are plentiful everywhere.
