The breakfast was good.

The breakfast was great and being able to soak in the on‑sen right from the room was a real plus; I could picture the cherry blossoms looking stunning from the window when they’re in bloom. The big Kanwajai on‑sen right next door made the location very convenient, though the bathtub sometimes wouldn’t drain because the drain was clogged, and there was no direct passage to the adjacent on‑sen building, forcing me to walk around the fence.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was marred by a disappointing breakfast experience, which was particularly poor considering the weekend rate we paid. In fact, it was the first time I've stayed at a hotel that didn't even offer eggs for breakfast, which was a major letdown.

One of the highlights of my stay was the warm mulberry tea served in the lobby, which was a lovely touch.
