Roxy Hotel New York

The staff were friendly, the location was good, and the room was nice for traveling with teenagers who loved the pool table, so it felt like a good value for a double room. The Roxy turned off the water one night from 12pm-7am, which was an unpleasant surprise because we weren’t told until that day and had late‑night plans.

“More like a resort, certainly a lively oasis with compaaionate, accomodating staff.”

I loved the hotel’s design, there were plenty of spots outside the room to chat, everything was planned with care and respect, and I saw the design as a tribute to cinema with a space for other art forms; I liked the prints, the Django cellar was cool, and the designated home and Roxy cover for the piano were great.

“We still like this hotel”

We love the hotel overall—great location, friendly staff, a pool table, and other amenities. We’ll probably return. The only downside was plastic litter on the carpet strip from the elevators to our room throughout our stay. We told staff about a door that stayed closed, and they seemed to take it seriously, so it’s probably fixed now. The carpets look like they’re ready for replacement.

“Comfortable for a 1 night business stay”

All good , just the front desk lady staff could have been a bit more friendly on arrival and smile a bit and not be so formal and arrogant. Room was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed for 1 night stay. Very dark interior of the hotel
