“Not a bad apartment. Enough for a week stay in my personal view.”
The apartment’s layout was great, the bed was comfy and clean, and the fan kept the heat at bay all night. The sofa was lovely but low, and I appreciated the body towels and slippers. The window views and lighting were fantastic, and the lamp stand by the window added a nice touch. Plenty of spare toilet rolls were available, and the room was bright with a warm bold wall color. It was the cleanest apartment I’ve seen, except for ants crawling everywhere in the kitchen and bathroom. The toilet seat had been replaced and repaired. The TV was fine after a quick unplug‑plug fix. Wi‑Fi worked well, and the clothes cupboard had ample space. Communication with the owner was excellent via messages, which was crucial since I’m profoundly deaf and don’t use calls. The ants were mostly in the bathroom and kitchen, rarely on the dining table, and still present when we left. Leaving food unattended attracted them. No hot water in either kitchen or bathroom taps, and the shower was weak and lukewarm. The toilet seat was broken on arrival, nearly causing a fall. The small air conditioner didn’t cool enough, but the fan helped. The shower mat was too small, so we used a tiny two‑piece mat. Surprisingly, there were no hand towels for the bathroom or kitchen, nor a tea towel for the kitchen. The TV seemed broken at first but worked after unplugging and plugging back in. The fridge was off when we arrived and needed help turning on. The sofa can become uncomfortable if you sit too long due to its low height. We avoided using the provided dishes, cups, and cutlery because they seemed dirty even inside the cupboard, opting for disposable ones instead. The computer chair was a bit uncomfortable. The lights were great, but we couldn’t turn the bedroom light on or off independently; it only switched the living room and bedroom lights together.
