The person who welcomed us was adorable and very helpful. She gave us fruit and even aloe vera for our sunburns. The shared kitchen was dirty with a grease‑laden hood.

Nic. First, the owner lied to us and we didn’t sleep in the accommodation booked through . It turned out the lodging had a sewage problem, which is understandable, but we were never informed about it until the end. The owner didn’t tell us about the change of accommodation, only sent us a pin where we had to go, with no information, and told us to contact a woman named Taina. It stopped making sense when we started looking for the destination. We found out we were placed in the “Les Tainas Lodge”, which has a Google rating of 1.5. The owner completely had us somewhere else – he kept saying to contact Taina. He didn’t even ask if the new lodging suited us or if everything was okay. At the entrance, when we saw how it looked, we grabbed our heads. There was a big cockroach on the floor, it was clear it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time, everything was messy, dusty, and there were some ferns. The bed and wardrobes had plywood peeling off, crumbs everywhere, and it’s possible there were also bugs, e.g., termites gnawing the wood of the bed and wardrobes. There were flies everywhere and mold near the shower cabin. The fridge was dirty, unwashed, and also had mold. Honestly, I even doubt the owner replaced the bedding. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. Not having many options at 22:00, we stayed there for the night, but the next day we fled the place. Overall, I don’t recommend this owner. On top of that, he “canceled” the stay on , because the payment was cash, and I can’t even file a complaint. Congratulations to the owner.

The person who picked us up at the airport was welcoming. The location is close to major amenities. The river noise below is present. The room was decent with storage. The cleanliness of the common areas needs improvement, especially the kitchen. The house needs tidying.

Close to the airport. The shuttle to the airport costs more than the stay itself and was not mentioned, which is a pity and a bit too expensive.
