Convenient location to Baxter Park. The property doors were left unlocked overnight and no staff around after 230 pm. Dark room. Looks like they are working on renovating

Checking in was a breeze, and the room value matched the price pretty well.

The hotel gave a quiet escape in a pretty remote part of Maine, with windows that opened to fresh air. Even though guests were present, the staff seemed absent; I had to call to get someone to help me check in. The place has been a town staple, yet the attached restaurant is closed. The room was clean enough, but the lighting was quite dim.
