The rooftop pool was not opened.
The indoor area close to the sea was comfortable, the coffee maker in the room worked well, and the foot bath was great. The heating was still a bit cold even when turned on.

“Nicht wie erwartet, dennoch in Ordnung”
The resort staff were very nice and tried hard to communicate with us despite the language barrier. When we checked in, we could choose between two rooms and we got the “more exclusive” one. The terrace view in front of the room was beautiful—directly onto the sea! Breakfast was a bit unusual for us Europeans, but there was fresh fruit, which was a big plus. However, at check‑in the hotel felt like a “lost place”; we were the only guests. Unfortunately the pool was not filled, so we couldn’t use the main reason for booking. The beach outside was a pebble beach, and we hadn’t been fully informed about that, which was unsuitable for us because we wanted to lie down and spend time there, so we had to drive daily. Also, the room couldn’t be darkened properly—the exterior lights shone through the blinds at night and lit the room. We could still sleep, but it was a bit of an adjustment. Water and coffee were not refilled, and breakfast was billed separately (the price seemed arbitrary, as two different prices were charged on two days).
The hotel is near Hakdong Mongdol Beach and I tried the seafood stew for the first time, which was a unique experience and enjoyable. The double‑storey layout caused the second floor to become very dry when heating was on, and the first floor wasn’t warm enough, which was a bit disappointing.
