The hotel was close to my destination, but housekeeping was only mediocre at best, the elevator was filthy, and the carpeting in the halls looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or swept in a long time.

I booked this place hoping for a pool and hot tub, but I was only told about the renovation when I got there. The air conditioning barely worked and the remote had no buttons, and my key stopped functioning; water pressure was almost nonexistent.

The location was fine, but the room was awful: the sink had no stopper so water always flooded the counter, floorboards were peeling off the walls, and the pool was closed.

Front desk area was presentable. Morning staff was very pleasant and personable. Elevator made treacherous sounds, screeching and clunking like it was about to break. Got off on the 3rd floor and the smell was terrible. Walked into the room, it was very wet/humid, smelled like mold and mildew. Cleanliness was VERY questionable. Bed "looked" clean, yet was very uncomfortable. AC unit didn't work properly, even trying to use it in the dehumidify function failed. Fridge didn't work. Bathroom was ok, except the toilet seat was VERY worn and looked either unclean or severely damaged. Advertising was pet friendly, yet the bed was an open frame, allowing pets under the bed and making it very difficult to get the kitten out from under it in the morning. Pool was closed. Breakfast was "done being served" at 08:00
