Located just off Marsalforn Bay’s beach on Gozo, Maria Giovanna Guest House is a family‑run retreat named for the owners’ mother and grandmother. Elegant rooms feature air‑conditioning, wrought‑iron beds, private bathrooms and balconies, some offering Mediterranean sea views. Guests enjoy complimentary Wi‑Fi, a lobby internet point, and homemade breakfast cakes crafted by the sister‑pastry chef. Nearby: lively restaurants, bars, beaches and a 10‑minute drive to the Gozo Ferry Terminal.

The hosts were very friendly, the location was great, the vibe authentic, and the breakfast was amazing. The Wi‑Fi could use a bit of improvement.

The Guest House looks appealing and is beautifully furnished. The breakfast is high‑quality and very tasty. A family‑like atmosphere prevails, and everyone is very friendly.

The house is beautifully and stylishly furnished with a nice entrance area. What really stands out is the personal touch – you feel welcomed, receive great tips, and the breakfast, made with care and variety, was the best I’ve had on my Malta trip. It was a little noisy coming from the street.

The hosts were very nice and the breakfast was excellent. My husband had a sports injury and Sonja helped us right away. Absolutely nothing to complain about.
