Thank you so much! The host was amazing and greeted us with a bottle of great wine. The place was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location is pretty close to the city, main sights, and restaurants. Very friendly and amazing host! Thanks a lot! We will definitely come back again!

The B&B is located 1 km from the town of Signaghi, very tidy and clean. The bed and blankets are comfortable, and the wardrobe in the bedroom is simple but convenient for clothes. The living room has a TV. The kitchen is fully equipped (stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine), the bathroom is large, hot water is good, and there is a washing machine and a clothes rack. The host lady and her mother live on the floor above us, but they do not interfere. The host is very warm and pre‑heated the heating early for us, and she made a very generous breakfast. The B&B itself has a terrace and a courtyard; although there is no view, walking 100 meters to the opposite restaurant terrace gives a panoramic view of Signaghi.

Signaghi is a small “mountain town”; Ortachala Valley Retreat sits on the slope leading into Signaghi, making arrival and parking convenient. The house is in a great spot: the Saint Nino convent in Bodbe is only 1 km away, the Saint Nino spring a few km away, and the old town of Signaghi is walkable. The rooms are on the first floor; the host Lia lives on the second floor, but the floors are not connected, so there is no interference. This also means that guests can be greeted and checked in by Lia at any time. The room is well equipped, and the courtyard has laurel trees, persimmon trees, fig trees, grapes, mint, roses, etc. Lia is an older woman who hardly speaks English, but she uses Google Translate fluently to communicate with us without any barrier. She is very enthusiastic, kind, and considerate, bringing us ice‑cucumber, giving us mint leaves from the courtyard to make tea, picking laurel leaves for us to cook with, and offering us plenty of ripe figs! Her kitten Piso is very well‑behaved, usually playing in the courtyard and on the first‑floor terrace. After eating the ham we fed him, he rolled over on his belly for us! We really liked it here!

First of all the owner! Tina is an excellent person, she is very attentive and always ready to support. You feel yourself like in your own country house with all necessary conditions. The wine from Gurjaani was simply perfect! Thanks a lot Tina!
