The room was nice; I thought it was a cooked breakfast, but it turned out to be continental—okay, I would stay again. The room was cold at night.

The venue and location are good and easy to access, the grounds are really nice with a large carpark that is well kept. The path from the pub to the rooms isn’t ideal for a wheelchair, but that’s not a criticism of the property itself.

Because the rooms are separate from the pub, it’s really quiet and relaxing, with ample secure parking. The continental breakfast in the room was a fabulous surprise and very convenient. I met the owner, John, who was a fantastic host. It’s a wonderful find for my family, so I definitely expect to use it again. Everything was perfect.

When we arrived the lady showed us to our room and told us everything we needed to know, she was very polite and helpful. The room was well equipped with everything you need and plenty of options for breakfast and drinks. It was lovely and peaceful, we loved looking out and seeing the chickens in the courtyard
