The room was simply furnished and hot water was available. The building smelled damp and moldy, had been poorly ventilated for a long time, and the bedding was clammy. The electrical and sanitary installations need a basic overhaul, and the entire building requires a fundamental renovation—it's the lowest standard in Eastern Europe.

Nothing positive; the location was fine. The entire house smelled musty, the entrance area was dirty, the handrail to the living area was rusted, staff were not German‑speaking. I suspect the furniture came from the junkyard. The sink was loose, the shower tray was peppered with sodium sulfide, light switches had no protective frame, and many other issues—all documented with photos. In a phone call with the landlord I requested another room or to cancel the booking for the reasons above; he demanded a €15.00 fee to stay and insisted I leave a positive review.
I slept as well as I have in a long time.

There was no bell at the main entrance or the back entrance; only behind a hedge was a door. I almost left again until the owner found my flashlight and opened the door. The room’s furnishings were a mishmash, some still from the DDR era (curtains, plastic taps). A musty smell and clammy bedding, though the bed itself was comfortable. The bathroom and toilet were clean. A second level above the bathtub (not walkable) stored various items. The property has potential but would need extensive renovation.
Nothing positive. I left immediately—absolutely a no‑go.
