The location is great and the facilities superb, the view from the tent was fabulous. The site is brand new and will only improve as the owner develops the grounds. There are stables on site where you can arrange riding trips; we did that and they accommodated both me, a complete novice, and my boyfriend, an experienced rider. Unfortunately heavy rain made the trails slippery, which was mildly terrifying for me, but my boyfriend enjoyed a proper ride, not just pony trekking as he says usually happens on holiday horse‑riding trips. The weather was a downside; not much the hosts can do, just a shame it rained so much when we were there as we would have loved to explore the forest trails more. There was building work going on but only during the day and we were out most of that time, so it didn't impact our stay. They're building a bar/restaurant on site which will be a bonus.

Our family's stay at Volcano Tenorio Glamping Ranch was a mixed experience, with some pleasant surprises and significant concerns that travelers should be aware of. While the cabins were reasonably comfortable, the remote location and lack of staff presence created several challenges.

This reviewer had a fantastic experience at a nature-based accommodation, where they were surrounded by the sights and sounds of the great outdoors. The friendly staff and good communication with the owner made their stay even more enjoyable. The tent was well-equipped with everything they needed, and the nearby bathroom and shower facilities were convenient and clean.
