The host was welcoming and the room was comfortable and quiet. The pool was enjoyable when the temperatures were high, and the meals were generous. No complaints.

The place felt very warm and the staff went out of their way to attend to us, while the décor was elegant. It felt like stepping back in time, and the manor was spotless, with all room windows fitted with mosquito nets. We dined there and were treated to an excellent homemade menu prepared by the lady of the house, and the breakfast was hearty with superb homemade jam. We stopped at the manor after a day at the Palace, a 35‑minute drive away, and it was perfect! I highly recommend it and thank the keepers for their hospitality and kindness.

The manor was clean, the garden beautiful with a pool, and the breakfast was good. The host tries hard to be pleasant but lacks the spark for it.

The owner’s friendliness, the gorgeous style, and the terrace overlooking the Loire Valley were all wonderful.
