Hoe gasten het hotel beoordelen, aspect voor aspect.
Very friendly staff, good food, great nature, and the boat ride to the reserve. But there was no electricity in the building, the bathroom was dirty with plenty of hair in the shower, we saw several huge spiders in the bathroom, there was no place to sit outside the house when it rained, and no way to hang things. The path to the boat station was a 10 km gravel track (but we knew that beforehand).

We had an unforgettable visit to the Pacuares nature reserve, and I’m grateful for this one‑of‑a‑kind adventure. The staff, researchers, and volunteers were all incredibly helpful and well‑versed in their work, and we were fortunate to spot leatherback turtles. The forest tour and boat tour were also fantastic, giving us plenty to learn.

We had a great experience here, it's a small and really recommendable place. We booked two nights and they were definitely worth it.

This reserve is really interesting because of the amount of wildlife you can see. They offer two turtle censuses at night, which is a privileged experience. We also got to visit a colony of Agami herons, which was a highlight of our trip. The volunteers are amazing, doing important work in tough conditions. The food was a bit mediocre and scarce, but the drinks were fine.
