Claudio, our host, was warm, helpful, and funny, and his wife kept the place spotless every day. The décor was a unique mix of mid‑century and simple, yet well finished and tidy, and the bed was wonderful. We slept on the street side; with the windows closed it was fine, but opening them at night made traffic noise a bit disruptive. I can handle it, but if you’re sensitive it might be tough.

The very warm welcome by the hosts, their kindness and helpfulness. Nothing was too much trouble. We could communicate very well in English and French. Tea and coffee making facilities. Also ideal if you want to take the train to Padua, Venice ….as the train station is a very short walk away. The only thing I would say is that if you are relying on public transport to get into the town, it’s fine by day by bus, but from 20.00 there are no buses. We walked back , it was around 3 kms and pleasant
